1. About Apostates (Murtaddun)
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever changes his religion, kill him.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 6922)
(Note: Islamic jurisprudence applies strict conditions to this ruling, including due process and the rejection of Islam after full knowledge.)
2. About the Arrogant
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“No one who has an atom’s weight of arrogance in his heart will enter Paradise.”
A man asked, “What if a man likes his clothes to look nice and his shoes to look nice?”
He replied, “Allah is Beautiful and loves beauty. Arrogance means rejecting the truth and looking down on people.” (Sahih Muslim 91)
3. About Social Outcasts & the Oppressed
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or oppressed.”
A companion asked, “O Messenger of Allah, I can help him if he is oppressed, but how can I help him if he is an oppressor?”
He replied, “By stopping him from oppression, for that is how you help him.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 2444)
